      Loved the “5 Unexpected Lessons” and so agree with number three. I was lucky enough to be in the audience at Canisius College last year to hear Joyce Carol Oates speak. And it was magic! It would be awesome to be a part of something as wonderful as the Iowa Writer’s Workshop someday….
