Over on Fiction Writers Review, Aaron Burch interviews Matt Bell (I had the pleasure of hearing Matt read from his new novel here in New York a couple of weeks ago, so I found this interview especially interesting).
Another recent literary event on my calendar: Monday evening’s panel at my neighborhood Barnes & Noble featuring author Rebecca Lee, Doug Stewart (Lee’s agent), and longtime Atlantic fiction editor, C. Michael Curtis. After the event, I bought a copy of Lee’s new collection, which Janet Maslin reviewed this week for The New York Times.
