B’nai B’rith magazine is looking for a Deputy Editor; at the same time, B’nai B’rith International seeks a Digital Media Strategist. (Both positions are in Washington.)
Renee Ghert-Zand reminds us of Philip Seymour Hoffman’s notable “Jewish role” in the Australian clay animation film Mary & Max.
What an impossible guy this Philip Roth is! First he repeats – no more writing etc. and then this lengthy piece on his current “preoccupations”… What a wonderful book all this would make, wouldn’t it? I really do hope that he is just teasing us with this retirement thing…
I’ve been a fan of Michael A Burstein for a while — although I have mixed feelings about the piece you highlighted. I hope it’s availability online wins him more readers. He deserves them!
My favorite in the anthology is actually “I Remember the Future.” I think anyone who’s written fiction can identify with it.
The Renee Ghert-Zand link didn’t come up, but the funniest thing is that what appeared was a review of a play that’s currently running in my neck of the woods! I’m tempted to go see it…the review was great. 🙂

I guess we’ll find out. In the meantime, I am very glad that I read Claudia Roth Pierpont’s biography. Learned so much more about him!

Oh, my bad! Yes, I’ve corrected the link and it should be working fine, now. That play (obviously) also caught my attention!
