Finds for Writers
Writing- and publishing-related resources to peruse over the weekend.
- A poignant message from Sy Safransky, as he steps into “editor emeritus” status at The Sun. (Thanks to Susan Perabo for leading me to this.)
- Over on Bookfox: “4 Ways to Use Silence in Your Fiction.”
- “Next spring, author Lauren Groff and her husband, Clay Kallman, plan to open The Lynx in downtown Gainesville, Fla. The 2,300-square-foot store will sell new books for all ages, with an emphasis on Florida’s literary history and, especially, books currently banned in the state.” More info via Shelf Awareness.
- For Writer Unboxed, David Corbett explores “Your Character’s Faith (or Lack Thereof).”
- And on a not-unrelated note: Check out the latest Jewish literary links over on My Machberet (including some news about my next online appearance).
