In which I participate in David Abrams’s “Sunday Sentence” project, sharing the best sentence I’ve read during the past week, “out of context and without commentary.”

I am thinking how it is possible that you spend a week in the country among the nature and have a horrifying time? When it could be a dream event for me?
Then I ask myself, aren’t you judging her based on your values, your likes and dislikes?
What if we all could see behind the words and understand the many reasons and motives of others behaviors and reactions without judging them by our measure? And accepting them!

In this case, the character in question can’t imagine living anywhere outside NYC. Even other cities would horrify her. So you can imagine her attitude toward anyplace that isn’t urban, let alone “country”!
