Friday Finds for Writers

Treasure Chest
Writing-related resources, news, and reflections to enjoy over the weekend.

  • From Celeste Ng: “An Incomplete List of Asian American Women Writers Who Have Published at Least One Book of Fiction.”
  • Good news for anyone (such as me) who enjoyed Jonathan Evison’s The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving: Its movie incarnation is in the works. Ron Charles has the scoop.
  • Nice to see more attention for John Vanderslice and his story collection Island Fog, on Books on the Table and Fiction Writers Review.
  • Love Christi Craig’s New Year-focused post (and not just because of the kind words for me). Check out the rallying cry.
  • And from the Department of My Day Job: The Fig Tree Books website redesign went live this week. Take a look (and if you’re not already subscribed to the newsletter, please sign up for it!).
  • Have a wonderful weekend, everyone.

    1. I’m going to have to share the Paul Auster interview that Christie Craig linked to. Fascinating peek into one writer’s mind. Some of it was SO very different than previous things I’d read/heard.

        Christi has a terrific blog!
