Midweek Notes from a Practicing Writer

Milestone Reached

Yesterday, my poetry manuscript and I reached a milestone:

We sent ourselves off in full-length form to a publisher.

Yes, I have doubts. Yes, I am likely to continue revising.

But for now, I am taking some pride and pleasure in the fact that I assembled this collection in time to submit it for this particular opportunity—and went ahead and sent it in!

Coming Soon: December Issue of The Practicing Writer

If it’s nearing month’s end, you know what’s coming: a new issue of The Practicing Writer.

Don’t miss out on this potential-packed (and free!) resource. If you’re not already a subscriber, here’s where you can find out more/subscribe.

Sunday Plans

Sunday will find me at the annual Jewish Book Council Jewish Writers’ Seminar. (I’ll be moderating a panel on publicity/promotion.) Perhaps I’ll see some of you there?
