Gee, Erika- I worry if that’s to be considered a huge statement. I’d hate to think that one couldn’t be critical at times and still be a treasured, valued author. Israel prides itself on being a democracy that respects ‘”different” people & differing viewpoints. But like America, the government in power and its followers have not always truly honored the country’s own ideology. (In my opinion. I’ve never earned a valued & respected author status in the first place, so I guess I really needn’t worry–for myself. But I still do–for both countries).
Oh–and I, too, value your posts. Even though we may not always share the same opinion.
