Midweek Notes from a Practicing Writer
No sooner had I returned from my wonderful trip to Miami for the JAHLIT symposium than I was off again for a quick trip to Boston. I feel so far from “caught up” on things that I can’t seem to slow down and write a proper post. So for now, I’ll just share with you this lovely photo that was taken in Miami at my “creative keynote” appearance. Credit to photographer (and JAHLIT co-director) Monica Osborne.
P.S. I am attempting to find a venue that might publish the keynote text. Please stay tuned!
Also: I have another conference gig coming up! I’ll be moderating a panel on publicity at the Jewish Book Council’s Jewish Writers’ Seminar on December 2, right here in New York.
Happy Thanksgiving wishes to all who are celebrating—and special greetings to all for whom the holiday may not be quite so happy. You’re not forgotten.
That is a beautiful photo, Erika!
Once every half-century or so, I photograph well! 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving, Erika. Thank you for all the wonderful information and posts you share.
You are welcome!
Thankful for all the writing leads you share, Erika.
It’s a truly lovely shot of you, Erika.
And a very happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. Thank G-d for our lives in this kind,
generous and welcoming country. And thank you for so much that’s useful, interesting and improving. And often entertaining, too. Thanksgiving takes me straight back into the pages of Dick and Jane, where Zeke the handyman(?) raked the autumn leaves into crackling piles of russet and orange and three syllable words like politics were still a very distant future away.
Thank you so much, Judith! I hope that you and yours are having a wonderful holiday weekend.
