Toward the end of each week, the My Machberet blog presents a collection of links, drawn primarily from the world of Jewish books and writing.
- Let’s begin with a quick follow-up to something I mentioned last week on the Practicing Writing blog (regarding the Pulitzer Prizes). There is now an open letter to the 2024-2025 Pulitzer Prize Board, and it’s still receiving signatures (I’ve added mine).
- “The Antidote to Antisemitism: Celebrating Jewish Art and Artists” (a wonderful profile of The Artists Against Antisemitism—remember, I’m on the board!—by Robert Nagler Miller for Jewish Chicago).
- “A New Literary Magazine Offers Safe Space for Ostracized Jewish Writers” (Judy Maltz writes about Balagan/Writing on the Wall for Haaretz).
