Jewish Literary Links
Toward the end of each week, the My Machberet blog presents a collection of links, drawn primarily from the world of Jewish books and writing.
- From Jewish Review of Books: “The Spring Issue Is Here!”
- It took me a few weeks to catch this profile of Howard Freedman, who “lives and breathes books at S.F.’s Jewish Community Library,” but as the saying goes, better late than never!
- Over on School Library Journal: “7 Delightful Picture Books for Passover and Shavuot.”
- I’m looking forward to reading Nicholas Lemann’s just-published Returning: A Search for Home Across Three Centuries; for now, I’ve enjoyed his conversation about it with Adam Kirsch.
- And a note that Esther Poetry Journal is “on an indefinite hiatus.”
Wishing everyone a Shabbat shalom and, if I don’t manage to post again on My Machberet before the holiday, a good and happy Pesach.
