This is a follow-up to a post that covered the first half of 2026. As I mentioned then: “If you follow bookish sites, or even simply book coverage elsewhere, you’ve likely been catching lots of lists setting forth the ‘most anticipated’ books of 2026. Once again, as far as I’ve noticed in the ‘mainstream’ examples, the presence of Jewish books—particularly books by authors who don’t make it a regular practice of declaring their ‘good Jew’ anti-Zionist bona fides—ranges between ‘slight’ and ‘nonexistent.'”

Something similar applies when it comes to books publishing this summer and fall.

The 18 titles below are books I know about because they’re written by friends/acquaintances, or because they’ve otherwise come to my attention (in part, via the Edelweiss platform). But they’re only a sampling of those on my radar for the second half of 2026.
