Monday brings the weekly batch of no-fee competitions/contests, paying submission calls, and jobs for those of us who write (especially those of us who write fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction).
The November issue of The Practicing Writer will go out by week’s end. As always, it will be filled with no-fee contest info and calls from paying publications. If you’re not yet a subscriber, it’s not too late to sign up!
Literary magazine upstreet is now open for submissions. “Payment, upon publication, will be between $50 and $150 for poems, and between $50 and $250 for short stories or essays.” (h/t @Duotrope)
