In which I participate in David Abrams’s “Sunday Sentence” project, sharing the best sentence I’ve read during the past week, “out of context and without commentary.”

I feel like the older I get, the better friends I am with myself.

    What is your secret? I find myself increasingly self-critical as I age, as I look back upon the past. Consider yourself blessed!

      I guess the secret was being extremely self-critical for the first 30-something years. I do consider myself blessed. Very!
