In which I participate in David Abrams’s “Sunday Sentence” project, sharing the best sentence I’ve read during the past week, “out of context and without commentary.”

She was mostly mood and only a little bit person.

  2. Another great choice, Erika. The language is pared to the bone, yet entirely expressive. Was it Pound who spoke of packing language with meaning? Something like “Dichten = Condensare”? Well, this sentence does that.
