Midweek Notes from a Practicing Writer

This week is seeming crazy-busy, so I’ll keep this update brief.

1. ICYMI, the March issue of The Practicing Writer went out to subscribers yesterday. As always, you can read the current issue online, too.

2. In other newsletter news, I also hit “send” and distributed the latest newsletter for Fig Tree Books LLC. This issue includes info on a new offer—a free e-book!—for newsletter subscribers (including new subscribers) and a lot of other good stuff.

3. Other things going on: Drafted a new poem while meeting with my trusty group last night. Have decided to register for a summer writing conference (it has been a long time since I’ve said that!). Awaiting details about another conference where it looks as though I may be a speaker. Reading Rebecca Schuman’s Schadenfreude, A Love Story. Thinking a lot about Jewish cemeteries—and recalling a cemetery-focused poem of mine.

So that’s a bit about what I’ve been up to. How about you?
