Sunday Sentence


In which I participate in David Abrams’s “Sunday Sentence” project, sharing the best sentence I’ve read during the past week, “out of context and without commentary.”

When I wrote my first essay for Martin’s class I got an A, which back in the dark ages of the mid-1990s was not the baseline grade of acceptability, and actually meant exceptional.
