Midweek Notes from a Practicing Writer

Three quick things:

1. Tomorrow I’ll be Boston-bound for Grub Street’s The Muse & the Marketplace conference (where I will be co-leading a Sunday morning session with Rachel Kadish). I’m going to take a brief blogging hiatus while I’m away; look for the next blog post here (and also, on My Machberet) after I return.

2. I’m pretty happy with my latest poem, which I wrote last week just in time for Passover. It’s written in the form of a blessing, and I shared it with my family at our first seder and then with a few folks via private FB groups. It still needs a bit more work, but I think that I’ll be trying to circulate it more widely in time for next Passover.

3. And ICYMI, the latest issue of The Practicing Writer went out to subscribers over the weekend. It’s also posted here on the website.

See you back here when I return from Boston!
