(The movie veers into science fiction when it features a female editor in chief and a 90s-era Esquire staff filled with people of color.)

    This sentence seriously pushed my buttons. By any definition this is not “science-fiction.” Social Engineering, maybe.

    Too bad the story is behind a Sigh-Up Wall I am not willing, or interested enough, to cross.
