Midweek Notes from a Practicing Writer

Three quick updates from my desk.

1. Still waiting for a response from the first publisher to whom I sent my first completed picture-book biography manuscript. In the meantime, I’ve returned to another pb-bio idea (not a whole lot of writing this week—but some good research). And I’m looking forward to discussing others’ works-in-progress at our next critique-group meeting next weekend.

2. Very much enjoyed last night’s launch of the new Mishkan HaSeder: A Passover Haggadah—a volume in which I’m proud that one of my own poems appears.

3. And in case you missed it: The March issue of The Practicing Writer 2.0 went out to subscribers last Sunday. It’s a pretty good issue, if I say so myself!
