Midweek Notes from a Practicing Writer

Three quick updates from my desk.

1. I’m absolutely delighted to share with you the latest issue of Teach. Write.

Included within: my flash story, “Fabrication.”

You can access the journal freely on Katie Winkler’s website (click the link beneath the photo). “Fabrication” begins on p. 68.

2. I’m also proud to point you to a “Where Are They Now?” interview that I recently completed for Literary Mama, which includes, among other commentary, some reflections on a short story of mine that LM published many years ago (it happens to be a story that did not appear in Quiet Americans). I’m very grateful to LM for returning to me to find out where I am now!

3. And, just in case you missed it: The April newsletter went out to subscribers right on schedule late last week. It’s packed with fresh fee-free and paying opportunities, plus an array of subscriber success stories and other goodies. Do take a look (and share!).

    Hi Erica
Please remove me from your mailing list. I am not writing any more short stories. I switched to writing screenplays. I hope that I will be successfully.
    Best wishes

Unfortunately, I can’t manage this for you–but you should be able to unsubscribe yourself from any post that you receive via email. Good luck with your screenplays!
