- From the European Writers Salon: “Got big writing plans for the year ahead? Submit your 2026 writing resolutions here by 31st December, and we will send them back to you at the end of the year to hold you accountable!” The invitation is open to all; if you’re in Europe, you may win a “literary goodie bag.”

- By this time next week, the January 2026 edition of The Practicing Writer 2.0 will have gone out, free and in its entirety, to all subscribers. - Speaking of holiday cheer: I hope that all of you who were celebrating yesterday had a very Merry Christmas. For me, it was an ordinary day (if quieter than usual).
