Midweek Notes from a Practicing Writer
Three quick things.
1. The biggest news, of course, is that my debut poetry collection, Birthright, was released yesterday. Which means that yes, now you can buy it!
2. And in case you missed it, I’ve posted the (lengthy) text of the book’s acknowledgments section here on the site.
3. Happily, there’s lots of marvelous coverage accruing, and I’m collecting it all over on this page.
And now, if you’ll excuse me—I have midterms to grade!
Ordered your book today!
May your sales thrive!!

This collection is extraordinary. I began to explore the book on Friday and found myself thinking about the poems all Shabbat long. Wow. I say began because I will coming back to these poems again and again. Thank you Erika for such magnificent wisdom on so many complex topics… you bring clarity and a fresh perspective that I didn’t know I was missing.
