Words of the Week (or, and Now for Something a Little Bit Different)

So, today is a special day: It’s the day that my latest book, Birthright: Poems, is being published.

To that end, I’d like to share with you some of the most crucial words in the book—those that appear in the acknowledgments section.

You’ll find them here.

Thank you for reading.

Yes, it is indeed a special day, Erika. Congratulations and every imaginable good wish for the success of the book. The first time I saw one of your poems was on the sadly missed Silver Birch Press site. It was “Self-Portrait with Root Rescue™”, which I really liked. Since then I’ve read and admired every piece of verse you’ve written and made available on the web. You have a voice and it is a fine one.

    Again, many congratulations,

    Clive

  3. Do you ever come to Vermont for vacations or to see friends? If so, I’d like to know, in terms of inviting you to speak at our synagogue in Montpelier Vermont.

    1. Erika Dreifus says:

I was last in Montpelier in 2017 for the poetry-manuscript workshop that I reference in the acknowledgments. I would love to return, but don’t currently have any plans to do so. Thank you for planting the idea!

  4. Sincere congratulations, Erika, on the publication of a book I look forward to reading. Enjoy the ride!
