Midweek Notes from a Practicing Writer

Three quick updates from my desk.

1. Nice to see my poem “A Single Woman of Valor” re-published on the 929 website yesterday, along with other works connected with Proverbs 31. (And if you enjoy it, you might well enjoy my collection Birthright: Poems, too.)

2. Now that I’ve completed a number of pressing tasks on my to-do list (yes, many others remain, but still!), it’s time to focus on readying the June edition of The Practicing Writer 2.0, which will go out to subscribers early next week. New subscribers are always welcome (it’s a free newsletter!).

3. And if you have the time/inclination: One of my students is among those being recognized in an event this afternoon honoring the winners and honorable-mention recipients in a “COVID Diaries” essay contest.
