Midweek Notes from a Practicing Writer

Three quick updates from my desk.

1. As of this week, my children’s picture-book bio manuscript is with three publishers. Please think good thoughts for its future!

2. The last time I was enrolled in a fiction workshop, George W. Bush was president. But right now I’m reading and preparing comments on the first set of submissions for the flash-fiction workshop that I’ve signed up for. (We’ll have held our first Zoom meeting by the time next week’s midweek notes get posted.) The question remains: Will I actually have something ready to submit next week, in turn?

3. In discussion about a couple of potential fall events that I hope to be able to tell you more about soon.

an open spiral notebook with a pen resting on a blank page, plus a text label that reads, "Midweek Notes."
