Midweek Notes from a Practicing Writer
Three quick items from my desk.
1. Remember that audiobook query I mentioned last week? Well, I received a response: They’re not looking for short-story collections. So that’s that (for now, at least).
2. In more encouraging news: I’ve recently placed one of my short stories for a timely reprint. Details to follow.
3. And a newer story that I’ve been commissioned to write (and haven’t said much about here, yet, because until the editors approve it I won’t quite believe that said story will be in their anthology) is nearly ready to go to a friend for a first look-over. For the progress on this I am thankful, again, for Jami Attenberg’s recent Mini #1000WordsOfSummer, which concluded last Friday.
