Three quick things. (more…)
Three quick things:
1. I really do try to practice what I preach. I was reminded of this yesterday in a conversation with a coaching/consulting client. We were talking about the client’s use of a suggestion I’d made regarding regular “accountability” check-ins with a writing friend (more frequent than our conversations). And I couldn’t help thinking about how much I’ve come to depend on my own weekly “accountability” emails with one of my own writing friends. Those exchanges really do help keep me focused. And even when I “fail” to meet every goal I set each week, I have a “safe space” to simply reiterate the goal for another week. (It lives! And that’s something.)
2. Speaking of clients: I have permission from one of my PR folks to crowdsource here. This writer is a poet with an award-winning book forthcoming. And he has a lot of writing and publishing experience to share. I’ve recommended that he offer something to new subscribers to his mailing list. What might be an appealing sign-up incentive to you? Please respond to this poll and tell us!
Which mailing-list subscription bonus—from a poet—would most appeal to you? (Asking for a client.) Please vote and RT. Thank you!

3. You know how everyone’s been telling you to go see “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?”? Well, in this case, everyone is right. Go see it, if you haven’t yet. Especially if Mr. Rogers was a part of your childhood. And especially if you need a brief reprieve from 2018.
