Three quick updates from my desk.

1. I loved, loved, loved my visit with members of a synagogue reading group last Thursday to talk about two of the stories in Quiet Americans. What a treat for me. (We were so busy gabbing that I didn’t get a chance to ask these generous and enthusiastic readers to help me out with online reviews, but I’ll try to remember to bring that up when I meet with them again next week, when we’ll talk about one more story, plus some of the poems in Birthright.)
